Announcement: Mrs. Betty Carter Abel, loving wife of Dewey Edson Abel Passed away early in the morning on the 14th of July. Betty was the daughter of Thomas Volney Carter and Helen Blevins Carter. She is survived from the Carter/Abel union by daughters Jane E. Abel of Miami FL, Helen A. Samples of Tavernier FL, a son, Dewey Carter Abel of Miami FL. and a grandson, Shawn Edward Samples of Seattle WA. Services will be held at 11 AM  July 25th in Seymour, Indiana. To my favorite Mother in Law - I love you and will miss you very much.  I hope you have found the peace that you always wanted. I'm sorry I did not have the time to do a separate page for you. You deserve it and so much more. Thank you for being you. I will never forget.

Dewey Edson Abel passed away the morning of April 10th, 1998. He left in this world his wife of 53 Years, Betty Carter Abel of Miami, a brother, Floyd of Seymour Indiana, a sister, Jean of Seymour, a son, Dewey Carter Abel of Miami, and two daughters, Jane Ellen Abel of Miami and Helen Abel Samples of Tavernier, and a grandson, Shawn Edward Samples of Seattle, Washington.

He will be missed by all that knew and loved him.
