Florida Building Code
The 1998 Florida Legislature has enacted statutes creating a uniform Building Code for the entire State of Florida. A Commission will write this Code and present it to the 2000 Florida Legislature for adoption.
No more South Florida Building Code, Epcot, etc. Just the "FLORIDA BUILDING CODE". View the new version of 553.79. More to come on these pages later.
Just as a note, the 1998 Legislatures handiwork has been posted to the Official Online Sunshine site.
